1. How do portfolios inform you whether students are learning/delevoping as learners?
I believe that just by looking and reading at my students portfolios, I would be able to see how much my students have developed and learned from me. Just by looking and reading at them, one would be able to see, example in a writing portfolio, how much his students has increased in vocabulary, keeping a correct grammar, using the right tenses, and etc. by comparing the recent portfolios with the old ones. That way, the difference will be more obvious and more pleasing to look at - especially if there is a positive development.
